Team Krish embarked on a comprehensive journey to address Midea USA's tracking challenges. Initially, a thorough audit of the existing tracking setup was conducted to identify gaps and inconsistencies. This assessment provided a clear roadmap for optimizing and streamlining the tracking mechanisms.
To resolve these issues, our team integrated Tealium into their website, creating a centralized system for managing all tracking tags. This approach ensured that all necessary user interactions and events were accurately captured, leading to improved data accuracy and consistency. Furthermore, the team utilized ChannelSight to address integration issues, ensuring seamless tracking of buy-now button interactions and user engagement.
The Strategy
Krish's strategic approach involved several technical implementations to achieve the desired results for Midea USA. Our initial strategy was of integrated Tealium into their website helped the brand streamline and manage their tracking tags centrally. Then we configured tags within Tealium for various analytics and marketing platforms, including Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel while ensuring precise tag firing based on specific triggers and conditions defined in the data layer.
Once we established a robust data layer to capture user interactions and events, it was time to define clear data layer variables that can help in tracking key metrics like page views, clicks, and eCommerce transactions. After these steps, we conducted another ChannelSight integration to update and ensure proper implementation of the scripts and enhanced data layers to track multiple interactions. Lastly, we conducted extensive testing using Tealium's validation tools and browser debugging tools to ensure all tags fired correctly and data was accurately captured.
