Technical Lead should manage developers, monitor projects assigned to the developers, and guide team members. He/She plays a vital role by guiding resources and expediting their deliverable and technical up-gradation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Work on the resolution of technical issues faced by assigned Team members
Ensure quality standards and compliance by team members
Handle technical issues and guide the team members
Bug-free coding on assigned projects and provide updates to project manager
Ensure quality of coding through random Code Level Testing and report issues to the project manager and director of delivery
Provide estimations for the new requirements, when needed
Update / Report in PMS and Scrum meetings for the projects assigned
Ensure that development standards, policies and procedures are adhered to
Assist in improving current development practices, document them and train resources for the same
Conduct skill assessment for the technology and update skill matrix
Plan resources technical skills up-gradation, mentor them for their technical skill enhancement with help of L&D Team
Learn and build new technology practices, when assigned
Find improved methodology for technical implementation and guide team members
Recommend resource allocation for the project based on skill matrix and self-observations
Conduct technical interviews
